2. OLD TOWN SAN DIEGO

San Diego’s Old Town State Park has been a favourite of both locals and tourists alike for decades, as it offers not only a glimpse into the vibrant past of the city but also houses a wide range of specialty shops that provide an array of merchandise from around the globe, with a heavy focus on Mexican products. 3. HORTON PLAZA

Horton Plaza’s colourful and whimsical architecture makes it the ideal shopping centre in the region that differentiates it from any other mall. Since its construction in the 1980s, the complex has become somewhat of an icon for San Diego and even has its own Wikipedia page. San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter was credited with kickstarting the area’s revival, and it continues to be a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. Among the numerous stores, restaurants, and eateries one will find within the confines of the centre, you will also be able to find top retailers, making it a popular lunchtime stop for downtown workers. 

A movie complex and a theatre called The Lyceum Theatre are among its amenities. The mall’s fate has been unclear since it was recently sold, but it remains the best downtown for now.

4. Flower Hill Promenade

The Flower Hill Promenade is a popular shopping area east of the I-5 freeway in Del Mar, California. Located in the heart of the city, this outdoor shopping destination offers shoppers a low-key, easy-to-navigate environment filled with specialty boutiques ranging from high-end cheese to cigars along with luggage and upscale clothing brands. 5. FASHION VALLEY MALL

Fashion Valley is one of the most popular shopping centres in San Diego’s Mission Valley district due to the variety of stores and restaurants the area has to offer and the outdoor atmosphere.
